Get to know Jun!
To celebrate Jun’s NFT drop this coming October 18, the World team took the chance to introduce Jun more to the World community.
1. Can you tell us a little more about yourself, the ups and downs you’ve faced, and how you overcame them as an artist?
Hi everyone! I am a digital artist from Taiwan. I love creating surreal worlds where anything can happen. As an artist, sketching and studying art concepts in my university have inspired me to create every day. Of course, the journey wasn’t a bed of roses. There was a roadblock in my journey where I didn’t have any motivation to create. I took that period in my life as a sign to slow down, focus, and restart. My journey as an artist led me to be the artist I am today.
2. Tell us more about your design process when you create your works
My design process involves a combination of both photography and photo manipulation. The unique thing about my works is that most of the objects used are actual shots I took myself here in the streets of Taiwan. It may take more time, but personally, it’s worth it.
3. Where do you get inspiration that keeps you driven as an artist everyday?
Life and the things in my surroundings daily inspire me to create these surreal worlds. Sometimes it’s also thanks to the movies that I watch at home! My art is my way of translating my observations and experiences in life onto the digital canvas.
4. What’s the most expensive NFT you’ve sold?
This is my first time selling an NFT. I hope you guys support the start of my journey in this space!
5. What do you hope to achieve in the NFT space?
I hope that this auction on the World Marketplace kickstarts my journey in the NFT space. After which, I’d love to continue crafting works and making a name for myself in the industry.
6. TellWhat’s next for Jun?
I’ll continue to hone my passion and create more works. To add, I’ll be exploring other forms of expression, such as generative art.
