World x Waifu Token
As the $WORLD team expands their reach into the NFT space, the team is proud to announce a limited partnership with Waifu Token, the cryptocurrency for digital 2D/3D manga-style characters.
With this limited partnership, Waifu Token will be crafting two (2) $WORLD x $WAIFU exclusive NFTs — the first one will be auctioned on the World Marketplace mainnet, while the details for obtaining the second NFT will be announced in due time. This exclusive collaboration aims to bring further exposure to both projects.
As this partnership progresses, both World and Waifu Token will be working closely together exploring the possibility of collaborations in the near future. In addition to this, both teams will be leveraging themselves on each other’s connections as both projects continuously expand.
About Waifu Token
The WAIFU Project began as a community project for Ethereum developers and enthusiasts to explore different ways to reward collectible artwork for contributing to a decentralized liquidity pool. Although there was no project funding, it was clear that there is an energetic community surrounding this idea and the project grew organically from day 1. It has since grown into a sustained effort focused on generating original cryptocurrency-inspired WAIFU characters and finding new ways to create interesting economies around tradable NFTs on the Ethereum network.
Waifu Token wants to provide users with even more WAIFU collectibles that can be acquired either through their entirely unique farming experience or by purchasing these limited-number works on a peer-to-peer marketplace.
